Intermission #2.6: On Delays, Again (+ Life Update)

Hello again! How the hell are you? How’s the season treated you so far? It’s been a minute since we last spoke, and with the summer rapidly coming to an end, I figured it might be an appropriate time to issue another update.

Without getting into too many details, I have moved and – excitingly(!/?) – started law school. It’s a lot, but I assure you, I am having a great time, except for when my body tries to tell me this was a bad idea and catches a cold that takes an entire week to shake off. It’s a lot of grueling work, and I essentially now have an unpaid 9 to 8. As you might imagine, that doesn’t leave much time for writing.

The good news, however, is that I have been steadily getting into the swing of things, and by now, as I near the end of the second week of classes, I’ve become capable of sneaking in 30 minutes to an hour of writing here and there. It also helps, too, that I’ve written a considerable amount of Night 3 before classes started, so I am not working with an empty foundation (which is always – ALWAYS – a plus). So, tentatively, without making any promises, Night 3 should be in your inbox (and on this really cool really fun website that you should tell all your friends about where this post is also going up) if not “soon” then certainly “before Halloween at the latest.”

In the meantime, I can only ask you to do the same thing you’ve already done – read the story, share it with your mum, your cousins, best friend in school, favourite coworker, whoever, and don’t forget to let me know if I am a hack or if you are liking it so far – either is welcomed in the business of writing.

Well, that’s all I had – I should return to my Torts Law readings now and maybe finish that page I am still trying to finalise. Hope you have a good one, and stay safe. Enjoy the last few days of summer. Talk soon.
