In the Capital, sometime in the 2020s, a young courier, employed by a legally grey delivery company, becomes entangled in a whirlwind of personal and political transformations during the holiday season. When a friendly request sends him on a daunting journey, he starts to chronicle the oddities and quirks of his customers, grapples with challenges of maintaining personal relationships as the world burns, and contemplates his own place in a nation that is fundamentally not his own.

Decembrism is a novel about making sense of a rapidly decaying world, finding your way towards belonging, and all the upheavals and terror of being alive at the end of another year brings.
